    3.000 or higher. For software versions 3.000 and 3.010, it is recommended that you send the system to Verathon in order to have the EEPROM updated. Software versions under 3.020 have a maximum calendar date of December 31, 2019. If the software is not updated, the date on exam printouts may be inaccurate.

    TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEdURE 5. IdENTIFY IRREGULAR AIMING ICONS The bladder shape displayed in the aiming icon on the LCD screen and on the printout should be shaped like an oval. Regardless of the volume measured, abnormalities in shape may indicate a service issue with the probe.

    PROCEdURE 13. SERVICE THE PRINTER This procedure contains instructions for completing the following tasks: • Clearing a severe paper jam • Cleaning the print head and printer roller • Replacing the printer cable • Replacing the printer If the printer is producing irregular printouts, clean the print head and roller prior to replacing any parts. If cleaning the print head does not resolve the service issue, then replace the printer cable.
