Wiper mechanism, as from model 1971
Removal
1. Remove the wiper arms. Unscrew the nuts and remove
the rubber rings on the wiper spindles.
2. Release the instrument panel and pull it out so that
the wiper mechanism will be accessible. Detachment
of the instrument panel is described in Chapter 8.
3. Loosen the two nuts on the wiper spindle of the right
hand side. Push both the wiper spindles from outside
and divide the outer cable casing from the spindle on
the right hand side. Then the mechanism can be re-
moved from the cable.
REMOVAL OF WIPER MECHANISM
Installation
Reinstall in reverse order.
