DISTRIBUTOR
The distributor is identical with the Saab V4 distributor.
As from model 1971 the vacuum advance operates via a
PVS-valve (PVS = positive vacuum supply). The valve is
fitted on the thermostat housing and feels the tempera-
ture of the coolant. When the temperature of the coolant
is rised above +225°F (107°C) the valve readjusts the
vacuum advance so that the idling will be faster and the
engine cooling will be improved. Concerning removal,
