c) Drill out the three uppermost pop rivets for the
cover plates at the front door pillers.

FRONT DOOR PILLARS
13. Back off and remove the screws in the front edge
of the rear wheel house, one on each side.

14. Back off and rernove the twelve screws round the
front body attachment to the dash panel. The cover
of the heater box must be removed.
15. Release the instrument panel, see group 8.
Pull it out so that the support plates for the instru-
ment panel are uncovered.
Back off and rennove the screws hold ing the wind-
shield pillers to the dash panel (one on each side).

16. Pry loose the linkage between the windshield wiper
motor and the wiper mechanism.
17. Cut away the sealing compound between the body
and the chassis in the rear wheel houses, using a
sharp knife.
18. Lift the body off upwards and rearwards.
