1. Summary of components

CPX terminals are fitted with different electric and pneumatic
modules (valves) in accordance with the customer's wishes.
The equipment fitted on the CPX terminal in this manual may
therefore differ from the equipment you are using.
The electric and pneumatic side of the CPX terminal can be
adapted to various requirements. The electric side can be
fitted with various electric CPX modules, e.g. a CPX field bus
node, digital and analogue CPX I/O modules etc.
The pneumatic side can be fitted with pneumatics of type
Midi/Maxi or of type CPA. Different sizes of valves are poss
ible here. Pneumatic modules are however not absolutely
necessary. CPX terminals can consist exclusively of electric
modules.
