Step 4 Using the
touch panel
Your camcorder has operation buttons on the
LCD screen. Press the LCD screen with your
finger or the supplied stylus (DCR-IP55E only) to
operate each function. This section describes how
to operate the touch panel during recording or
playing back images on a tape.
(1) Prepare the power source (p. 26 - 30).
(2) Slide OPEN in the direction of the B mark
indicated on the camcorder to open the LCD
panel.
(3) Set the POWER switch to CAMERA,
MEMORY/NETWORK (DCR-IP55E only) or
VCR.
(4) Press FN to display PAGE1. The operation
buttons of PAGE1 appear on the LCD screen.
(5) Press PAGE2 to go to PAGE2. The operation
buttons of PAGE2 appear on the LCD screen.
(6) Press PAGE3 to go to PAGE3. The operation
buttons of PAGE3 appear on the LCD screen.
(7) Press a desired operation item. See relevant
pages of this manual for each function.

Press EXIT.
To execute settings
Press EXEC or OK. The display returns to
PAGE1, 2 or 3.
