Quick Start Guide Recording movies on a tape Attach the charged battery pack to the camcorder. Slide the BATT (battery release) lever in the direction of the arrow as shown in the illustration and remove the battery terminal cover. BATT (battery release) lever Insert a cassette into the camcorder.

• The power will not be supplied from the battery pack when the AC Adaptor is connected to the DC IN jack of your camcorder, even if its mains lead is disconnected from the wall socket. • The recording and playback time will be shorter when you use your camcorder in low temperature.
