Wiring the Amplifier/Previous Speaker

Connect the red and the black speaker wires from the cut end of the
PendantConnect-2 cable to the included 3-pole splicing connectors, as shown below.
Using the guide printed on the side of the splicing connector, strip .43 inch (11 mm)
from the ceiling end of the protruding black and red wires of the PendantConnect-2
cable. These wires will be inserted into the two 3-pole splicing connectors.
DO NOT TIN the wires.
Repeat this process for the black PendantConnect-2 speaker wire (see the figure
below).

Connect the amplifier/speaker wires coming from the ceiling/junction box to the
3-pole splicing connectors mentioned in the previous step. The red amplifier/speaker
wire connects to the splicing connector wired to the red speaker wire, and the black
amplifier/speaker wire connects to the splicing connector wired to the black speaker
wire.
NOTE: Each pole of the splicing connector is capable of accepting up to 12 AWG
wire.
Wire the 3-pole splicing connectors for a loop-through configuration.
