This parameter has three settings: dial number, earth and flash. If you are not sure of the mode
used by your exchange, ask the manager. Select the relevant mode by pressing
confirm by pressing START . If you select "dial number", the display prepares for the entry of
a number. Type the number on the numeric keypad and confirm by pressing START . The
facsimile machine displays the second private exchange parameter (in some countries, this
parameter cannot be accessed).

PULSE
One of two types of dialling may be used: pulse or tone. If you are not sure of the type of dialling
used by your exchange, ask the manager. Set the type of dialling by pressing
by pressing START and press STOP to move on to the next step.
10.Press START. The display shows the parameter "DIAL TYPE FOR PUB. NET." (in some
countries, this parameter cannot be accessed).
