Monitor Adjustments
• 1 is balanced toward a blue tint for those that have a cooler preference
• 2 is balanced toward a brown tint for those that have a warmer preference
1. Touch Utilities.
2. On the System tab, touch Setups.
3. Click System Settings, and then click the Display tab.
4. Select the appropriate Default Monitor Tint setting. Philips recommends the sRGB setting
for routine use.
5. Click Close.
NOTE
Rendered 3D volumes are particularly susceptible to changes in display tint. Some clinicians
prefer the following settings for optimal viewing of 3D volumes: set Default Monitor Tint to 1
or 2 and set Default Monitor Brightness to 1.
You can also change the monitor tint temporarily:
1. Touch Utilities.
2. On the System tab, touch Monitor Tint to choose from sRGB, 1, or 2.

Changing the Default Monitor Brightness

You can change the default brightness of the monitor image in the setups. The system uses this
default value to set monitor brightness each time the system is turned on.
1. Touch Utilities.
2. On the System tab, touch Setups.
3. Click System Settings, and then click the Display tab.
4. Select a setting for Default Monitor Brightness from 1 (darkest) to 6 (lightest).
5. Click Close.
You can also change the monitor brightness temporarily:
1. Touch Utilities.
2. On the System tab, touch Monitor Brightness to choose from 1 (darkest) to 6 (lightest).
