Switch back to the Quick Setup pane. Move the card out of the field of view, trigger the reader again
and after the first trigger move the card into the field of view so that the second read attempt will
read the code. Look at the Result History pane; you should see something like the image below
(Fig. 75) when you click the plus sign in front of the overall result. This shows both images and their
results. The first is the image without the card in the field of view which received a status of No
Read, and the second with the card in the field of view with a status of Read. Click on each of
these and view the image in the Image Panel to confirm this. By default not all images are
transferred, as that takes more time, but the option is available to send all of them; this could be
helpful during setup or troubleshooting a fast moving application.
Open the Light and Imager Settings once again and select the Trigger Settings tab; select a Trigger
Type of Manual (button) (Fig. 76). Notice that this type is neither internal or external but is
described as (button), meaning the trigger button on the reader.
This type has the following attributes.

Allows the fixed mount reader to function similarly to a hand held reader

Triggers reads as long as the button is held in until a code is read

Can utilize Auto Exposure

This type is not recommended for moving applications

The button must be held in until the code is read or the read attempt will be aborted
