You should find that by alternately placing the two cards in the field of view that each code is read
once. This feature keeps the reader from reading the same code twice in successive read attempts.
It works for all trigger types.
You can also specify this to happen for a number of codes by setting a number in Don't Reread Last
N Codes.
Conclusion:
This lab gave you an overview of the different ways in which the reader can be triggered. This
allows for greater flexibility in the reader to adapt to different applications. Be aware that not all
features are supported with all trigger types. You may see a feature exposed for one trigger type but
when the trigger type is changed the feature may not be available; it may not even be visible within
the appropriate pane.
To learn more about any features within the software you can use the Q & A help menu. This is
context sensitive so it will change depending on the pane that is currently active. It can be turned on
from the View menu (Fig. 85), and will appear at the right side of the window. By default it is pinned
so that it is always visible but it can be unpinned to Auto Hide.
