Click on the Buffering and Transfer hotkey in the System menu (Fig. 63). This will open the
Buffering and Transfer dialog (Fig. 64 on next page). Select the Image Buffering tab if it is not
selected by default.

Notice at the bottom of this dialog (Buffered Image Settings section) that buffered images will be full
resolution and will be in the bitmap format. This provides the image with the most information, in
case you want to run the images back through the reader to determine why it was or was not read.
At the top of the dialog in the Buffering Settings section, set What Results to Buffer to All and What
Images to Buffer for a Result to All. The first setting specifies which images are to be
buffered based on the decode result; those that are read, those that are not read, those that failed
validation or all images. The second setting dictates which images within a trigger sequence will be
buffered, either All or Same as Result (only images with a code that is read). Setting them both to
All means that all images captured will be buffered. Leave all other settings at default.
