Before storing the ja c k on the felt
in the spare wheel well, the jack
arm (1) m ust be low ered alm ost to
the base (2) of the jack.
W arning!
T h e jack is d esigned ex­
clusively fo r jacking up the
veh icle at th e ja ck tub es built
into e ith e r side o f the vehicle.
Use the ja ck only to lift th e ve­
hicle during a w h eel change.
N ever g et beneath th e veh icle
w h ile it is supported by the
jack. K eep hands and fe e t
aw ay from the area un d er the
lifted veh icle. A lw ays firm ly
set parking brake and block

raised. Be certain that th e jack
is alw ays vertical w hen in use,
esp ecially on hills. A lw ays try

arm is fully inserted in the
jack tube. Low er the vehicle
onto s u fficien t capacity

To open the storage com partm ent:
Lift out tool box.
To insert the tool box:
Position rear end of tool box,
press dow n its front end.
