Heated Seats
The front seat heater sw itches are
located to the left and right side of
the center console ashtray.
The rear seat heater sw itches are
located in each rear door.
The front seat heaters can be
sw itched on w ith the key in
steering lock positions 1 or 2, the
rear seat heaters only in steering
lock position 2.
Press sw itch to turn on heater:
1 N orm al heating m ode. One
indicator lam p in the sw itch
lights up.
2 Rapid heating m ode. Both
indicator lam ps in the sw itch
light up.
After app ro xim a tely 5 m inutes

in the rapid heating m ode, the
heater auto m a tica lly sw itches to
norm al operation and only one
indicator lam p w ill stay on.
T urning off heater:
If one indicator lam p is on, press
upper half of sw itch.
If both indicator lam ps are on,
press low er half of sw itch.
If left on, the heater autom atically
turns off after a pproxim ately
30 m inutes of operation.
Note:
W hen in operation, the seat heater
consum es a large am ount of pow ­
er. It is a dvisable not to use the
seat heater longer than necessary.
The seat heaters m ay a utom ati­
ca lly sw itch off if too m any power
consum ers are sw itched on at the
sam e tim e, or if the battery charge
is low. W hen this occurs, the in­
dicator lam p in the sw itch will
blink (both indicator lam ps blink
during rapid seat heating). The
seat heaters w ill sw itch on again
auto m a tica lly as soon as sufficient
voltage is available.
If the blinking of the indicator
lam ps is d istracting to you, the
seat heaters can be sw itched off.
