Drinking and Driving
W arning!
Drinking and driving can be a
very dangerous com bination.
Even a sm all am ount of alco ­
hol or drugs can a ffec t your
reflexes, perceptions and
judgem ent.
The possibility of a serious or
even fatal accid en t is sharply
increased w hen you drink and
drive.
Please d o n 't drink and drive or
allow anyone to drive after
drinking.

Parking Brake
To engage, depress parking brake
pedal. W hen the key is in steering
lock position 2, the brake w arning
lam p in the instrum ent cluster
should com e on brightly.
To release the parking brake, pull
handle on instrum ent panel. The
brake w arning lam p in the instru ­
m ent cluster should go out.

Driving Off
Test the brakes briefly after driving
off. Perform this procedure only
w hen the road is clear of other
traffic.
W arm up the engine sm oothly. Do
not place full load on the engine
until the operating tem perature
has been reached.
