5. Rem ove the protective cover
from the ja ck support tube
opening by inserting a screw ­
driver in the opening and prying
it out.
The tube openings are located
directly behind the front wheel
housings and in front of the
rear wheel housings.

6 . Insert ja ck arm fu lly into the
tube hole up to the stop. Place
ja ck on firm ground. Position
the jack so that it is alw ays
vertical (plum b-line) as seen
from the side (see arrow ), even
if the vehicle is parked on an
incline.
7. Jack up the ve hicle until the
w heel is clear of the ground.
Never start engine w hile vehicle
is raised.
8 . U nscrew wheel bolts com ­
pletely. Keep bolt threads
protected from d irt and sand.
W hile rem oving the last bolt,
hold wheel against hub to
avoid paint dam age on rim.
9. R em ove wheel.
10. Screw the a lignm ent bolt (1)
supplied in the tool kit into the
upper-m ost threaded hole.
