Factors such as operating and site conditions, as well
as manufacturer changes, can affect test results. If
you accept results under adverse conditions, the his-
tory of your maintenance routine might not be as ac-
curate as it should be.
To verify results, you can retest a set of jars or straps right after
you test them. Or you can test the rest of the string before you
retest certain jars or straps.

Retesting a Jar

1. From the Main Menu highlight the RETEST icon and press
the SELECT ITEM soft key.
The hierarchy of the sites set up on the tester appears
on the top screen with the available soft key options
displayed on the bottom.

press the EXPAND soft key. Repeat this process to ex-
pand the hierarchy to show the jar you want to retest.

press ENTER. A RETEST JAR screen appears on the lower
screen.

All Test

1. Use the ARROW keys to select ALL TEST and press TEST.
The tester will begin retesting the temperature, voltage,
and conductance of the selected jar using the settings
saved in the Test Setup. During this time a representation
of the jar is displayed on the upper screen.
When completed, the the results are displayed on the
lower screen. The LED indicators at the top of the tester
will also illuminate to show a FAIL / WARN / PASS.
2. Select PRINT to send the results to the IR printer or select
EXIT to complete the retest and return to the Main Menu.
Volt & Conductance
Use the ARROW keys to select VOLT & CONDUCTANCE

and press TEST. The tester will begin retesting the volt-
age and conductance of the selected jar using the set-
tings saved in the Test Setup. During this time a represen-
tation of the jar is displayed on the upper screen.
