General maintenance

Before carrying out any maintenance, unplug the mains supply cable.
No internal part of the Gravograph machine requires user intervention : general maintenance is limited to external
cleaning. If necessary, the user can change the belt or fuses.
If you wish to have the inside of your machine cleaned, contact a Gravograph technician.
The mains cable should always be replaced if it is damaged in any way : flattened, nicked,
cracked etc..., or if there are bare wires.

Adjusting the machine (reference points)

After it has been used for some while the reference points of the machine can alter slightly (these points are slightly out
of line with the clamping system, the Z position at the mechanical stop is above or below its normal position).
The M10 JEWEL machine has a very simple adjustment system which can be carried out by an expert user (which
enables the machine to be adjusted without having to return it to the distributor).
If you notice that it is out of line in relation to your engraving measurements, adjust the machine.
The M10 JEWEL machine has 4 reference points in X,Y and one reference point in Z :
- The reference point in Y for the inside engraving of a ring - Procedure page 42.
- The reference point in Y for the inside engraving of a bracelet - Procedure page 43.
- The reference point in Y for the outside engraving of a ring - Procedure page 44.
- The reference point in Y for the outside engraving of a bracelet - Procedure page 45.
- The reference point in Z - Procedure page 46.
According to your applications, it can not be necessary to adjust all the reference points.
