2.3.4 Examples of Scanning Errors.
The following figures show the results of various poor scans. The cause of each error is written in the figure title. The
location that best identifies the error in the presented scan data is identified with red arrows for clarity.

Note in the above figure the histogram data is scattered and the distribution curve is empty. The plot in the lower right of
the image has significant and broad distribution, not a relatively smooth average compared to the Acceptable Scan figure.
