(5) Once the two halves pressed together, turn the locking wheel clockwise until it stops. This secures the LEMO
connector into place.
The cable should be kept at a distance from the sensor/GPS/IMU unit. A close
proximity may distort the results.
(6) Turn on the computer where the Magnetic Field Mapper software was loaded.
(7) Take the LEMO cable and insert the USB connector into the USB port on the computer.
2.3.2 Magnetic Mapping Procedure.
There should be no ferromagnetic objects within at least three meters from the place in which the measurement is carried
out. The structure of the building (floor and ceiling) is likely to contain magnetic materials. This also includes magnetic
sources from powered electronic devices.
(1) Click Windows Start and click Magnetic Field Mapper from the Programs menu.
(2) Choose the 'Write results to Motion Tracker non-volatile memory' option.
(3) Click Scan. When the GPS/IMU is found The following figure opens.
