Note: The key can be turned from position 1 to
position 0 only when the shift lever is in P (parking)
position.
Note: When the ignition switch is in position 1 or 2,
if the driver side door is opened, an audible warning
sounds to indicate that the key is not removed.
Note: When the steering wheel is locked and the key
cannot be turned from position 0 to position 1, please
turn the steering wheel slightly and meanwhile turning
the key to unlock the steering wheel.

Ignition Switch (Passive Start)

The passive start ignition switch is located on the
instrument pack on the right of the steering column and
belongs to push-button start.
Note: The remote key must be in the car when operate
the system. To leave the parking gear, the ignition
switch must be in ON/RUN/STARTposition, and the
brake pedal must be depressed.
