Function of each position as follows:
Indicator Off (OFF)
• The engine is not started.
Yellow Light (ACC)
• Electrical accessories such as power windows, etc. are
allowed to operate in this position.
• When the engine is shut off,
START/STOPbutton once and do not depress the brake
pedal to turn the ignition switch to ACC position.
Green Light (ON/RUN/START)
• All electrical equipment are operational.
• Drive and start the car.
• When the engine is shut off and the shift lever is in P or
N position, depress the brake pedal and press ENGINE
START/STOPbutton. Release the start button when the
engine begins to start. The engine will continue to start
for several seconds until the vehicle is started.
Note:
When the ENGINE START/STOP button
illuminates yellow, if the brake pedal is not depressed,
press the ENGINE START/STOP button again, the
engine will not start, but the car enters green light
state.
Starting & Driving
If your car is close to strong radio signals, then push-button
start may be inoperative, because passive start system will
be affected by strong radio signals.
