API and ILSAC Specification
Use engine oil meeting API and ILSAC specification
SN/GF-5 5W-30, to ensure optimum protection for your
OR 0w-20
engine, alternatively seek advice from MG Authorised
Repairer.
ACEA Classification of Engine Oils
European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA)
will classify the engine oils based on performance and
quality. To ensure the best performance of the vehicle,
please use ACEA C3 engine oil or that recommended by
the manufacturer.
Choose a different viscosity of oil according to the
ambient temperature in which your vehicle is operating. If
temperature range is minimal continue using the original
viscosity oil.

If you are using your vehicle in areas of extreme cold,
we advise you to use oil of a SAE 0W-30 or SAE 0W-20
viscosity.
