Four-Wheel Touchdown Towing
The towing speed must not exceed 30 km/h,
the towing distance must not exceed 50 km.
If the 2WD car is towed with the four wheels on the
ground, observe the following precautions:
1 Switch the ignition to position ON to enable the brake
lights, wipers and direction indicators to be operated
if necessary.
2 Place the gear shift lever in N position.
3 Release the hand brake.
4 Turn on the hazard warning lamp.
5 If the transmission is damaged or lack of lubricating
oil, DO NOT tow the vehicle with four wheels on the
ground.
6 DO NOT tow backward with front wheels (drive
wheels) on the ground.
Emergency Information
Without the engine running, greater effort will be required
to operate the brake pedal and turn the steering wheel.
Longer stopping distances will also be experienced.
