DAILY CHECKLIST
Make sure you perform a daily check of the unit. Make copies of the Refuse Vehicle Daily Inspection
several pages to have the Operator mark completed items before each route. Many checks in the Daily Checklist are
maintenance related, such as checking tire pressures and hoses for wear and damage.
Refer to the Daily Checklist Maintenance Items Chart below for items to check and the required action.

Low air pressure in tires
Worn tire
Damaged tire
Hydraulic pump leaks
Damaged hydraulic pump
Loose or missing hardware for the hydraulic pump
Damaged decal or decal not readable
Low level of hydraulic oil
Worn or damaged hoses
Leaks at cylinders, hoses or fittings.
Loose or missing hardware
Worn fiber guards
Worn or damaged tailgate lock components
Loose or missing tailgate lock hardware
Damaged tailgate seal

DAILY CHECKLIST MAINTENANCE ITEMS
Required Action
Inflate the tire to the correct air pressure given on the tire
Replace when the wear is greater than allowed by law or before
the tread is no longer visible
Replace immediately BEFORE going on route.
Determine the cause of the leak and repair immediately.
Repair or replace IMMEDIATELY
Tighten loose hardware
Replace missing hardware immediately
Replace decal immediately
Fill the hydraulic oil tank immediately
Replace immediately
Tighten loose connection
Tighten loose connections
Replace missing hardware
Replace hoses/fittings as necessary
Install new fiber guard on new hoses
Replace worn or damaged components
Tighten loose hardware
Replace missing hardware
Replace seal
