4. Using a pliers, remove the strain relief from the top of
the junction box. see Fig. 6.

5. Run the thermostat cord through the strain
relief along with all other wires that were already sup-
plied in the junction box. Strip back the insulation of the
thermostat cord wires about 1/2 inch.
6. Connect the black thermostat cord lead to the lead
labeled POWER SUPPLY TO THERMOSTAT using a
wire nut. Pull the wire nut to make sure it is secure. See
Fig. 7.

7. Connect the white lead of the cord set to both black leads
labeled POWER RETURN FROM THERMOSTAT. See
Fig.
8. Twist a wire nut onto the exposed conductors until tight.
Pull the wire nut to ensure it is securely connected. DO
NOT DISCONNECT OR ADD ANY WIRES TO THE
SMALL CLEAR WIRE NUT AS SHOWN IN FIG. 8.

9. Securely fasten the spade terminal to the ground wire
and attach the spade terminal to the green ground
screw located in the juction box. See Fig. 9.

10. Install the junction box strain relief and the junction
box cover from the heater's accessory package.
