B.1
The Device Identifier and Serial Number of the Switchos Advanced Microcolumn
Switching Unit must be correctly set to ensure proper operation of the unit on
the network.
The Device Identifier and Serial Number is factory set during the manufacturing
process. It can be checked in the GLP Menu.
If it becomes necessary to reset the Device Identifier and/or the Serial Number,
the following rules must be used:
In Table B-1, we indicate the identification of various devices, including a
Switchos, on a network.

Note: If the Device Identifier or Serial Number for the Switchos is incorrectly set,
the unit may not be able to communicate with other devices on the network
(depending on the control software package).

Network Identification
Identifying the Switchos on the Network
The Device Identifier for the Switchos must be 91.
The serial number must contain six digits. If the serial number of the
Switchos loading pump contains only 5 digits, add a leading zero (e.g.
72835 should be entered as 072835).
