M.2 SATA SSD Kit (To be supported)
M.2 SATA SSD Kit (Optional) can install the M.2 SATA SSD (Optional, Max 2).

Install the M.2 SATA SSD Kit

Please prepare the following before installing the options.

Parts included in the option kit

Phillips screwdriver
To install the components, follow these steps.
1. Back up all data in the server.
2. See steps 1 to 7 in Chapter 2 (1.2 Overview of Installation and Removal) for preparations.
3. See Chapter 2 (1.9 Riser Card) to remove the riser card in the loaded location
4. See Chapter 2 (10 PCI board) to install M.2 SATA SSD Kit in the loaded location.
5. Attach M.2 SSD to the M.2 SSD assembly board that is in the M.2 SATA SSD kit.
Insert the M.2 SSD (with the M.2 SSD assembly board) to the connector at 45degree then recline it toward
to the board. Fix the M.2 SSD to the board with one screw. Repeat the same process for 2nd M.2 SSD.
6. Install SATA cable in the M.2 SATA SSD Kit
7. See Chapter 2 (1.9 Riser Card) to install the riser card attaching M.2 SATA SSD Kit
Note
In order to prevent the damage to electronic components, please start to install the
system after conducting the appropriate anti-static treatment. There is a possibility
of causing electrostatic discharge if appropriate grounding wire treatment is not
conducted.
