4. Install the 2x SAS/SATA drive cage, and fasten with the screws (x3)removed in step.2

5. When 1 Riser Card is installed, See Chapter 2 (1.9 Riser Card) to remove the 1st Riser Card to remove
the 1st Riser Card.
6. Connect data cable from drive cage to Mini-SAS port3 on motherboard and connect power cable to left
power connector on backplane. Refer to the below cable routing.
7. See Chapter 2 (1.9 Riser Card) to remove the 1st Riser Card
8. See Chapter 2 (1.5 Top Cover) to attach the top cover of the server.
9. Mount the SAS/SATA drives.
10. Please see Chapter 2 (2. Installation and Connection) in this manual to conduct installation and connection,
and turn the power supply ON.
Note
In order to prevent damage of the system due to improper cooling or elevated
temperature, please do not activate the server or enclosure without implementing
any of component or blank on all of drive bays and device bays.
