(1) The function of external output
• The "ON" signal is output when one or more air conditioning system are in the ON operation.
• The "Malfunction" signal is output when one or more air conditioning system malfunctions.

12-3 LAN connection function

When using the LAN connection function, connect the LAN cable to the LAN connector of this device.
* Procure the LAN cable at the site, and use 100 BASE-TX Straight cable.
* For a description of the IP address setting method, refer to section 5 Initial Settings.
* LAN is 100 BASE-TX Specification.
CAUTION
Use a security device such as a router when connecting to
the Internet.
• Using level signals
• While the Emergency stop contact is ON, centralized controller and local remote
controller operation (ON/OFF only) is prohibited. After the emergency stop is
cancelled, air conditioning systems will remain stopped and will require manual
operation if they need to be started back up.
• When level signals are used for ON/OFF, centralized controller and local remote
controller operation (ON/OFF only) is prohibited at all times.
• Using pulse signals
• If the operation signal is received during operation, air conditioning units will remain in
operation. (The same is applicable to OFF/Prohibit/Permit.)
• When pulse signals are used, changing the ON/OFF, operation mode, temperature
setting, filter sign reset settings will be prohibited from the remote controller.
