External Input/Output Forced On/Off Function

• When using the Process CPU (redundant mode), refer to the following as well.
Page 435 FUNCTIONS
External inputs/outputs can be forcibly turned on and off from the engineering tool. This function enables input devices to be
turned on and off regardless of the on/off state of the external inputs and enables the external outputs to be turned on and off
regardless of the operation result of a program.

(1) Turn off X0 forcibly.
(2) The input device is turned off regardless of the on/off state of the external input.
(3) Turn on Y0 forcibly.
(4) The external output is turned on regardless of the operation result of the program.
The external input/output forced on/off function is available for MELSEC iQ-R series modules and Q series
modules mounted on an extension base unit.
Before executing the external input/output forced on/off function, check the versions of the CPU module and
engineering tool used. ( Page 1008 Added and Enhanced Functions)
