Providing VPN Connectivity Across Multiple Autonomous Systems with MPLS VPN Inter-AS with ASBRs Exchanging
IPv4 Routes and MPLS Labels
Example:
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router(config-bgp-nbr-af)# route-policy pass-all out
Applies a routing policy to updates that are sent to a BGP neighbor.
• Use the route-policy-name argument to define the name of the of route policy. The example shows that the route

Disables overwriting of the next hop before advertising to external Border Gateway Protocol (eBGP) peers.
Step 11
Use the commit or end command.

Configuring the Route Reflector to Reflect Remote Routes in its AS

Perform this task to enable the route reflector (RR) to reflect the IPv4 routes and labels learned by the
autonomous system boundary router (ASBR) to the provider edge (PE) routers in the autonomous system.
This task is accomplished by making the ASBR and PE route reflector clients of the RR.
