Implementing Multipoint Layer 2 Services

This module provides the conceptual and configuration information for Multipoint Layer 2 Bridging Services,
also called Virtual Private LAN Services (VPLS).
Note VPLS supports Layer 2 VPN technology and provides transparent multipoint Layer 2 connectivity for
customers. This approach enables service providers to host a multitude of new services such as broadcast
TV and Layer 2 VPNs.
