Fault clearance

If defects are noticed on the control block for two-hand start or its function, suitable
measures to maintain the safety level must be taken.
Malfunction
The outlet port (2) is
depressurised even though
both inlets are pressurised at
the same time (t  0.5 s).
Pressure reduction at outlet
port (2) takes too long.
Air outlet at exhaust (3) if both
inlets are pressurised at the
same time (t  0.5 s).

Operation

Checking the operational reliability:
• Check the function of the control block for two-hand start monthly è Chap. 7.2.
• Keep a record of the functional tests.

Possible cause
Inlet pressure too high
Tubing connection error
Silencer dirty
Functional fault
Remedy
• Reduce the inlet pressure
at (1.1) and (1.2)
• Use short tubing
• Avoid elbow connectors
• Clean or replace silencer
