SERVICE OPERATIONS

Changing the drive pulley bearings

- Remove the holder (1) and its 3 plastic guides
(2).
- Remove the moving flange (4) 6 bearings (3).
The bearings must be changed if they
show major signs of wear.
The guides shall be replaced if they
show signs of wear.
Make sure surface of the plates in contact with
the belt does not show any cracks or signs of
abnormal wear (A).
Reassembly:
- Fit the drive rollers, variator pulley cam, and its
guide without using grease.
