The opening of the furrows is made through the offset double-discs. The one that
has the function of cuting the straw (stubble) is the disc attached with the depth band.
The other disc makes the opening of the furrow for the fertilizer and the seed.
In the coulter blades (optional) the adjustment to increase or to decrease the
pressure on the soil is accomplished through the holes, withdrawing the hair pin, raising
or lowering the blade, and locking with the pins at the desired height, puting the hair
pin back.
Note: IN CASE THAT STRAW LAYERS ARE DIFFICULT TO CUT, OR VERY THICK, WE
RECOMMEND TO USE COULTER BLADE Ø 14" IN THE ROW UNIT TO ASSIST THE
WORK OF THE OFFSET DOUBLE-DISC.
Note: THE COULTER BLADES ARE SUPPLIED WITH SCRAPERS (A). THE OFFSET DISC
BLADES OWN INTERNAL ADJUSTABLE SCRAPERS (B).
