Procedures for Changing the Row Spacing
To change spacings in the machine, proceed as follows:
- Make the spacing change in a clean, flat and stable place. Be sure that the
seeder is properly supported.
- Loosen the rows through the nuts (A) and (B). Only remove the rows which will
not be used. The others must be kept in the place or slide sideways in the machine.
- Remove the seed tubes (C) and fertilizer tubes (D), together with the row units,
by loosening the clamps that fit to the spouts.
- Shut the seed outlets using the metering stops (E), in the rows which will be
withdrawn.
