NOTE: The hard drive spare part kit does not include the hard drive rubber sleeve or the hard drive gasket. The
hard drive rubber sleeve is available using spare part number 924419-001.The hard drive gasket is available
using spare part number 928898-001.
Description
1 TB, 5400 rpm, SATA, with 8 GB hybrid solid-state hard drive

Before removing the hard drive, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the hard drive:
1. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the hard drive cable is connected, and then disconnect the hard
drive cable from the system board.
2. Detach the hard drive cable (2) from the system board. (The hard drive cable is attached to the system
board with double-sided adhesive.)
