8.
Press on the keyboard release tool until the keyboard/top cover (2) releases from the computer.
9.
Lift the front edge of the keyboard/top cover (1) until the keyboard cable and TouchPad cable connectors
are accessible.
10.
Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (2) to which TouchPad cable is connected, and then
disconnect the TouchPad cable from the system board.
