Description
For use on all computer models:
500-GB, 7200-rpm, SATA, 7.0-mm hard drive
500-GB, 7200-rpm, SED, 7.0-mm hard drive
500-GB, 5400-rpm, SATA, FIPS, 7.0-mm hard drive
320-GB, 7200-rpm, SATA, 7.0-mm hard drive
For use only on computer models equipped with an AMD processor:
1-TB, 5400-rpm, SATA, 7.0-mm hard drive
For use only on computer models equipped with an Intel processor:
500-GB, 5400-rpm, SATA, 7.0-mm hard drive
500-GB, 5400-rpm, SATA, locked, 7.0-mm hard drive

Before removing the battery, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
