15.0 Disposal

To comply with national law, the following
instructions are guidelines for the disposal
of your product at the end of its life or when
it ceases to function economically.
Recent legislation on electrical equipment
indicates that the equipment must be
disposed of in a proper manner.
• The product and /or its components are
not to enter the system of landfill sites.
• The product and /or its components are
not to be disposed of in domestic
household waste.
• The electrical and material parts are to be
disposed of as scrap or recycling
materials.
• Local waste collection depots are
available to advise and dispose of
electrical products.
• Batteries which contain liquid acid must
be stored and disposed of separately at
these depots.
• Please enquire about disposal depots with
your local authority.
• Should you require further advice, please
contact your supplier or nearest dealer.
