5.3. Calibration of the temperature / humidity sensor

For the devices MultiSensor-RF / -LAN / -LAN-RF and -RACK it might be necessary to calibrate the sensor for
temperature and humidity once after installation and commissioning.
For this the temperature must be determined (for example with an infrared thermometer) in the immediate
vicinity of the MultiSensor. The difference between the two measured temperatures (measuring device and
MultiSensor) is then entered as an offset in full degrees into the corresponding field in the ControlCenter or in
the web interface of the MultiSensor (stand-alone).
The correction also has a direct influence on the determined humidity.
NOTE!
The MultiSensor is already pre-calibrated for the recommended installation on the ceiling. If there is no external
influence (e.g. by the airflow of the air conditioning system), the sensor will show the correct temperature.
Depending on the orientation of the MultiSensor (wall mounting, test operation with lateral position or cover up) and the
conditions in the room (climate control), a correction by several degrees may be necessary.

5.4. Kentix system jack at MultiSensor-RF / -LAN / -LAN-RF

Via the Kentix system jack, located in the front of the MultiSensor-RF, system components such as leakage
detectors, door contacts, acoustic signals or alarms of USPs or climate devices can be connected. The
MultiSensor-RF is powered via the Kentix system jack.
To connect external devices or alarm in- or outputs, three connector modules are available:
1) Power-Adapter KIO 1: Power supply, 2 digital inputs
2) Power-Adapter KIO 2: Power supply only
3) Power-Adapter KIO 3: Power supply, 2 digital inputs and 2 relay outputs
