4 There is a different belt tension specification for a new belt
replacement installation and a reinstall of an existing used belt.
Verify that the drive belt tension is within the new or used belt
tension Range Limit specification, see Belt Tension Specification
table. When the belt tension is not within the range specification,
continue to the next step and re-tension to OEM specification.

mount bolts to allow forward and rearward motor base movement. Move
the drive motor position as required to either increase or decrease
the tension.
6 Re-tighten the four drive motor mount bolts.
7 Walk the drive belt onto the drive motor pulley.
8 Run the tread at 3 mph for 1 minute to allow the belt and pulley
groves to align and seat.
9 Stop the treadmill, set the treadmill circuit breaker OFF and unplug
the power cord.
10 Place the tension gauge onto the drive belt and verify that that the
tension is within the specified Range Limit, see Belt Tension
Specification table
11 If the measured tension is not within the specified Range limits,
repeat the tension adjustment process and verify tension.
