Risk of injury – correct seatbelt positioning
The correct position for the vehicle's three-point seatbelt is on the inside of
the wheelchair armrest. The three-point seatbelt should fit snug to the user's
body without anything in the way. Failure to correctly position the three-
point seatbelt may cause injury and/or death, if the vehicle is in an
accident.
WARNING!
Requirements for vehicles used for
transportation
The wheelchair may only be transported in vehicles approved for this
purpose. Make sure the vehicle is suitably designed and equipped to
transport a person in a wheelchair and that the tie-down points on the
transporting vehicle are well-anchored.
