iSCSI Thin-Provisioning

I f iSCSI Thin- Provisioning is select ed when creat ing an iSCSI t arget v olum e, virt ual
m em ory is assigned t o t he t arget , allowing t he physical m em ory t o reach m axim um
capacit y and adding new disks only when needed.
To set up iSCSI t hin- provisioning, sim ply select " Thin- Provision" m ode from t he
" Cr eat e LUN" set t ing scr een.
Next , allocat e capacit y for t he iSCSI t hin- provision v olum e by dragging t he
Alloca t ion bar t o t he desired size.
Aft er t he size has been det erm ined, click OK t o confirm . Now y ou will see t he iSCSI
t hin- provisioning volum e is available from t he list . Please refer t o t he scr eenshot
below.
