Aut h e n t ica t ion m enu, you can cr eat e, m odify, and delet e user s, and assign t hem
t o gr oups t hat y ou designat e.

I f y ou have a Windows Act ive Direct ory Serv er ( ADS) or Windows NT ser ver t o
handle t he dom ain securit y in your net work , y ou can sim ply enable t he ADS/ NT
support feat ur e; t he Thecus I P st orage will connect wit h t he ADS/ NT serv er and get
all t he inform at ion of t he dom ain users and gr oups aut om at ically. From t he
Accou nt s m enu, choose Aut h e nt ica t ion it em and t he AD S/ N T Sup por t screen
appear s. You can change any of t hese it em s and press Apply t o confirm your
set t ings.
