From t he St or a ge m enu, choose Sha r e Folde r s, and t he Sha r e d Folde r screen
appear s. This scr een allows you t o cr eat e and configure folders on t he Thecus I P
st orage volum e.
Adding Folde r s
On t he Folde r scr een, press t he Add but t on and t he Add Folde r scr een appears.
This scr een allows y ou t o add a folder. Aft er ent ering t he inform at ion, pr ess Apply
t o creat e new folder.

is select ed, t hen t he share folder will be browseable.
Adm it or deny public access t o t his folder. I f Ye s is select ed, t hen
users do not need t o have access perm ission t o writ e t o t his
folder. When accessing a public folder via FTP, t he behavior is
sim ilar t o anonym ous FTP. Anonym ous users can
upload/ download a file t o t he folder, but t hey cannot delet e a file
from t he folder.
Press Apply t o creat e t he folder.
