4.4 Use Vibrator Only, or Silent Mode
Ringtones and the Notification sound is turned off by setting the handset to either Vibrator
only, or Silent mode. In Silent mode the vibrator is also turned off.
It is possible to set what alert priority is required to initiate the vibrator during a call (priority 1-8).
This is controlled under Settings > Ascom Settings > Sound > Vibrate for incoming messages
during call.
NOTE: It is also possible to select Yes or No for Vibrate for incoming messages
during call instead of a priority level. But break-through messages will
override the No parameter setting.
There are two different ways to switch to Vibrator only, or Silent mode:

Press and hold the Volume down button. After the lowest volume level the handset first
enters Vibrator only mode, and after another press, the Silent mode.

NOTE: Alerts and incoming messages are still shown on the top display, and by
Color-coded LED priority beacon flashes, when the handset is in Vibrator
only, and Silent mode.
NOTE: The handset can be configured to not allow settings below a certain volume,
refer to the Configuration Manual, Ascom Myco Smartphone for details.
4.5 Use the Touchscreen
The main handset display has a touchscreen with full support for standard Android gestures,
such as tap, drag, swipe, and stretch and pinch.
NOTE: Third-party apps may use additional gestures.
Tap
Tap (touch) the display with a finger to:
•
Open, or select an item.
•
Select, or clear a check box, or an option.
•
Place the cursor to input text with the keyboard.
Tap and Hold
Tap (touch) and hold the finger to the display to:
•
Move an item.
•
Show a menu.
•
Enable selection mode, for example, to select several items from a list.
