Note
Included only with HART software.
The communication type can be selected.
Available selections are:
HART
Off
The instrument address is can be entered here.
For HART communication, addresses 0 ... 15 are
possible.
Important:
If HART is selected as the
communication mode and the
instrument address is different than 0,
the converter is in what is known as
multidrop mode. In this mode, a
constant 4 mA is output from current
output 1 (HART current output).
There are three ways to set the PA address:
1. Hardware switch
2. Bus
3. "PA Address" menu (in "Data Link" submenu)
on the converter.
The hardware switch has highest priority. An
address specified by switch is fixed and cannot be
changed. If the switch address setting is not active
(switch 8 off), the address can be changed via the
bus or via the menu. Changing the address via
the bus is only possible if no cyclic communication
is running.
Only contained in the PROFIBUS PA software.
The table can be used to select one of the
following settings which determine the number of
the AI and totalizer blocks:
FCM2000 0849
Device-specific profile of the
FCM2000. 6 AI and 2 TOT
are specified.
Profile 9700

Profile 9742
Selection 3 AI and 1 TOT
Every channel (AI 1.. 6) can selectively be
populated with the following values
Mass flow
Volume flow
Density
Temperature
Internal mass totalizer (in contrast to the PA
totalizer)
Internal volume totalizer (in contrast to the PA
totalizer)
Only contained in the PROFIBUS PA software.
